Zack Settel

Zack Settel received a BFA in Music Composition at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), where he studied composition with Leonard Stein, Morton Subotnick, Mel Powell, and Morton Feldman. In the summer of 1984 he received a scholarship to study computer music at the Massachusetts Institute of technology (MIT). Since 1986 Settel has lived in Paris. He received a Fulbright Scholarship for computer music research and composition at the Institute for Research and the Coordination of Acoustics and Music (IRCAM) blah blah Ministery blah......

Settel is also quite involved in the field of Music Technology and is an active member of both the Computer Music and Music Industry communities. After Settel's two-year residency at IRCAM, he was blah blah etc. etc. etc. blah.......bah............ Pedagogy and Scientific blah blah included lecturing, software design and development for corporations such as Yamaha, Avid, and Lysis, as well as for other computer music institutes such as the Kunitachi College of Music (Tokyo), and the Tempo Reale Studio,blah etc. etc. etc............ throughout the world.
