The UB Concert Band presents a wide variety of music, spanning from
Wagner and Mozart and Strauss to Ellington and Zappa. Open to students of all majors
without any audition requirements, the
UB Concert Band presents two concerts annually in Slee Concert Hall.
The ensemble rehearses twice weekly.
Over the course of the year, a variety of
guests visit rehearsals to give master classes and work with the band on
sectionals. This is an important part of the course; band members have the
opportunity to work with a number of excellent professional musicians each
year.
