The following is the approved normal course of study for graduate students in instrumental or vocal performance. Requirements in composition may be altered to fit the needs of individual students. Other changes should be handled as a petition to the Graduate Committee.

II. Language Requirement

No requirement except Voice and Piano Accompaniment tracks: one foreign language (usually German, French, or Italian)
{Voice performance majors must also take a special examination in the diction of all three of these languages}
