Graduate Composers participate in masterclasses with all visiting composers in which
student works are presented and discussed. In addition to these guests,
the Music Department hosts a regular lecture series in which leading
research theorists and musicologists present their findings in
Department-wide Colloquia.

Festival, offering further opportunities to work with world-renowned

All visiting composers, performers,
ensembles, and lecturers are sponsored by the Birge-Cary Chair in Music,
the Dean's Office, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Music Department
General Fund and Music Lecture Series.
